Paralume is clever play on materials and scale. It was designed in 1983 (the Mini was added to the collection in 2004) by the Leucos Design Lab, and both the base and the shade are made of handblown incamiciato glass. Incamiciato is a Venetian glass blowing technique where a Maestro glass blower uses multiple layers of glass?each of different transparencies and properties?to create a rich satin white finish that is strong and provides perfect diffused light in your space.
