Unfortunately, an unexpected severe thunderstorm occurred one night and all three umbrellas suffered damage. I contacted Galtech, the manufacturer of the umbrellas, and they were very helpful and gave me good information on how to repair them and obtain the parts necessary to do so. I repaired them myself and now they are as good as new and look great. I would purchase them again without hesitation.

I didn’t give 5 stars because of the wooden shaft and the ribs are not really what we can call hard wood (from China). The riveting is also « loose » and the threaded coupling is a bit flimsy. The price is very good. Overall pretty much satisfied.

I ordered this umbrella based on the measurement stated at 1-5/8". If it was 1-5/8" it would just barely fit the hole in the table and the base! I had to buy a new table base and pay to have the table modified because it was 1-3/4"
