However, it is a challenge for the average do it yourself installer. The light really doesn't seem to be designed as a unit. It is composed of 6 separate lights and comes with zero instructions. Although I have tinkered with electrical issues and installed several lighting fixtures, I needed to confirm my installation plans with a few Youtube videos before giving it a go. Once underway, it took this novice about 5 hours to fully install. (So many wires and connections to make while insuring safety compliance.) For looks, I give this unit a 5+. For user friendly design, I can give it a 2+. Good thing it was purchased for it's looks! If you've never installed a ceiling fixture, don't start with this one. Do the right thing and hire an electrician. Then, sit back and enjoy. (This is now my favorite fixture in the house.....love looking at it when all other kitchen lights are off.) Going to suggest that LuxeDECOR or the manufacturer add an "installation" number on all fixtures....such: 1 is approximately a 30 minute installation and 5 is an "OMG" 5 hour job-consider professional assistance.
