I purchase 420 pounds of sand and only had a small quantity remaining after all four containers were filled. Just make sure you place it where you want it - the cover and four sand containers will need to be removed before the base can be relocated!

We still had one bag leftover but sand is very inexpensive. I like that there a four containers that can easily be moved if you didn’t find the perfect spot the first time.
