Assembly is required, and I needed a rubber mallet to pound the legs into the top (it has mortise and tenon joints that are extremely snug). Also, the weight of the table was greatly understated on the website. The shipping weight was over 60 lbs. according to the UPS driver. I'm guessing that the table itself is over 30 pounds, rather than the 10.55 pounds listed. These are both positives, as the table is sturdy, substantial and well designed. I was most impressed with the service from Patio Living. This item was listed as a "special order," and I fully expected to wait months for delivery. I was surprised when it arrived 10 days after I placed my order. Overall a great experience!
