But, they are not as comfortable as the 50 year old pair I have. Be aware that people are larger now than they were a generation ago. So, the new chairs have stiffer springs than the originals. It does make a significant difference in comfort for me. I weight 150 pounds and can rock all day in the older chairs. The new ones rock only about half the distance for me. My grandson weighs about 255, and they rock fine for him. Great chairs, just keep this in mind before ordering these.
