Northbrook, IL3-28-2025The globe itself is a beautiful vintage reproduction, and all metal parts are solid, heavy and polished to a beautiful sheen. My only issue is with the clear acrylic "props" that come with the airplane. They were not polished on the edges, were clearly not cut cleanly, and do not fit well onto the prop shafts, thereby looking "wobbly" on the display. I will likely go to the expense of having proper polished-edge acrylic replacements made because what comes with this really is a shame for an otherwise lovely collector's piece.
