Took three months to get, halfway through the summer, but love the furniture Nancy from  Redding, CT 7-19-2020 I found Patio Living's website to be a draw, as well as their selection, so I placed an order for the Polywood furniture back in April 2020 in hopes of enjoying it over the summer given the fact that we were going to be homebound during the pandemic. The Polywood site was sold out of the particular color cushion I wanted, but Patio Living had it in stock, so I ordered it. I found the customer service back in April very helpful when I was trying to decide. The wait for the furniture was very long.......mid-June. It was originally scheduled for delivery during a week in June that we were going to be away, so I was able to get in touch with a Patio Living representative (after a very long wait time) and defer shipment until one week later. The furniture arrived as planned but we were sent one wrong piece so we could not construct the loveseat. Well, this is when the problems began. There was no easy way to contact Patioliving. The wait time on the telephone was usually at least 45 minutes to 2 hours long, and when I finally got hold of someone, I was told they were understaffed due to the explosion of orders they had due to the pandemic (that they had, in fact, hired extra workers to man the phone). Therefore, the reps on the phone were not that knowledgeable...they were just extra hands to manage the calls. I did what I was instructed to do: send in a description of the problem and include photographs of the issue. My complaint is not that we were sent the wrong piece (from Polywood), my complaint is that I was not treated as a valued customer who had spent thousands of dollars with Patio Living. I was never able to speak to a knowledgeable representative......I was forced to wait interminably long on either the online chat (would take up to 30 minutes for the online chat to become free and find me a representative) or trying to talk to a rep on the phone. The representatives were pleasant for the most part, but they were not knowledgeable and would only tell me a ritualized response of "it takes 7-10 days for our claims department to respond". One time, the representative hung up on me when I asked to speak to a manager or someone who had more information about how I could ensure that my problem would be rectified. Despite my repeated requests to be emailed or called back to be given confirmation that my request for a replacement part was being worked on........I did not receive anything from Patio Living and was left enraged and frustrated and unsure of whether we would ever get the right piece so we could assembly our loveseat. Then, around July 9th, I was sent an email from FEDEX saying that a shipment from Polywood was due to arrive in the next day or two. Although I was thrilled, I was horrified that I had never gotten any response from Patio Living that my request was even being worked on.....the lack of communication and zero customer service was appalling. The part came in the mail on July 11th....almost 3 weeks after the delivery of the furniture. So, I placed the original order mid-April and my mid-July we finally had our furniture. Had PatioLiving just treated me with care and consideration as a valued customer, I would have had no problem with waiting a bit. But their lack of communication and responsiveness renders me unable to recommend them as a company. I will never order from them again.
