At 2/12 months when the told us it would be another month I noticed the the color was not right and they would not change it. I had ordered one 2 years ago and wanted it to match. I don't know how the color was not right but now I have 2 different colors, NOT flexible after making us wait and extra month, don't need it now. Did I mention over a $500 increase also. 5 star for the product, 0 for customer service.

Where our previous umbrella needed to be relocated during the day, this one is large enough to cover a full L-shaped couch the entire day when properly sited (which is a good thing, because the base is not designed to be mobile). It arrived in perfect condition, well-packaged and assembly was straightforward with two people. Customer support was very helpful in adjusting the shipping schedule. I couldn't be more pleased with the whole experience.

The process of getting it fabricated and delivered was miserable. The manufacturer didn’t deliver on the date promised and after several phone calls and emails ....could still not get a commitment on when the product would be shipped. Very little communication and even then...it was “we can’t give you an updated shipping date”. If you are ok with the umbrella showing up ...when it shows up....order this one. If you want to get it in an orderly...reasonable delivery schedule...order from a different company.

Provides a ton of shade and is relatively easy to operate (once you get the hang on it). It is VERY tall when closed, over 10-feet tall actually. While I carefully read the dimensions online prior to ordering I didn't truly appreciate the size until it was sitting in my garage awaiting install. When closed it's about 10' 3" tall and 24-inches in diameter. My wife and I debated the install location for several hours to find a suitable spot as it stands as a bit of a totem pole on the patio when closed. Also - given that I live in a temperate climate, I then realized that I need to find a location to store this thing in the winter. Things I didn't initially consider when ordering. Install (ground mount): It takes two people to move around as it does weigh over a hundred pounds and is a bit awkward to handle. I opted to install the cement in ground base. This worked out great and really reduced the on the ground footprint. Installation took two people for portions of it. The biggest hurdle for us was finding a location.. again.. tall. The provided hardware is all decent quality and they even provide the tools, which is helpful. Overall installation from start to finish too about 4 hours for the ground mount, not including cement cure time. Not going to add too much on the install here as there is a separate review for the ground mount. Operation: The umbrella is super easy to open once you get the movements down AND does require a relatively unoccupied area to allow it to fully open. The umbrella is suspended from the cantilever arm and hangs closed/limp until it clears supports. Doesn't seems like anything unexpected until you consider the space you plan to shade and the fact that this thing is pretty darn big. If a table or chairs are in the area the umbrella will get hung up on those items while trying to open it. For me I find it to be a bit of a balancing act of extending the cantilever arm while simultaneously opening the umbrella works best. In the end, I usually rotate the umbrella to the side where there are no obstructions, open it fully, then rotate it back into place. Not a big deal in the end but something I didn't consider when ordering. Once open the umbrella is fantastic - huge and provides tons of usable shade. The whole structure can rotate about the base with ease to get the shade exactly where it's needed. On top of that the umbrella can then tilt in three directions. We find this especially helpful during the evening when the sun is low in the sky. My only concern here construction related. The clip that locks the angle adjustment arm into place (to hold the umbrella at a given angle) is made of plastic. It's just odd as most other components are aluminum and this plastic clip does see considerable forces. I'm worries that this part is going to fail in time. Given the cost of this unit and how seemingly over-engineered it else everywhere else it's odd that this one piece is plastic. Not a deal breaker but in the back of my mind every time I use it to be mindful of that part. Overall: We are very happy with the purchase. It seems well built (less the mentioned part) and is easy to operate once we mastered the movements. As noted, my advice to potential buyers is to consider the space carefully as it is a large item but, hey, you get a 13-foot umbrella which is pretty wild. Makes our back patio usable any time of day whereas it was unbearably hot prior to the install.

We purchased the stands that have rollers on them. We could not be more pleased with the three umbrella's. They provide great shade and are durable with light winds. We also purchased one of the Luna Blue tooth speakers that can be attached to the bottom of the umbrella and it has great sound and also the LED lights that surround the speaker provides nice clean light at night. These are the nicest umbrella's we have been able to find in the market and we are 1000+% satisfied with this product and have recommended other friends to also purchase. Very impressive product.
