The finish across the top is very inconsistent. Hard to describe, but it looks a little like some kind of fluid was put on it but not consistently removed. The glossy/dull areas I see are not related to the varying hardness of the stone - it does look like a finishing deficiency to me.But it's not noticeable to a casual observer at least. Beyond that, very happy with the console!
